DOPPSTADT CALBE SETS UP MACHINE DELIVERY FOR HANS VORNKAHL GMBH MUNICIPAL SERVICE

Calbe, March 31, 2020.

Five „SM 620 plus“ screens at once were, early enough before the Corona crisis outbreak, the scope of delivery for the customer Vornkahl GmbH, a medium-sized waste management and service enterprise from Nettlingen/Hildesheim district. The recycling technology specialist Doppstadt coordinated the star-shaped presentation around the historic water tower on the Doppstadt Calbe premises in Saxony-Anhalt.

It was the first deal between Doppstadt Calbe and Vornkahl GmbH: "With 250,000 tons of organic waste per year, on 20 composting sites at the moment, we need a partner from the recycling technology sector, who is experienced and reliable. Due to negative experiences with previous suppliers, we were looking for a competent expert and decided for Doppstadt. The five new screens will be put into operation immediately, the present fleet of machines - some of them just twelve months old - will be sorted out gradually“, says Hans Vornkahl, owner of Vornkahl GmbH. The interregional waste management enterprise focussing on composting and agriculture acts true to the motto „Operate sustainably – close cycles“. Apart from shredding and composting this also applies to screening. "We close nutrient cycles by using suitable residual materials as fertilizers returning them to the place where the once came from, i.e. to the field“, Hans Vornkahl adds. "Our customer groups are mainly farmers, local authorities, associations of communes, municipal corporations for waste water and waste and private waste management companies for whom we need an efficient technology that meets our requirements.“

Delivery Including Factory Visit

Doppstadt didn't need to be told twice and convinced Vornkahl of their screen SM 620 Plus. This machine from the Doppstadt Trommel Line features five cubic meterscapacity, a quick-changing system for the screen inserts and options that meet the requirements. Furthermore, the low diesel consumption, low operating costs and a high throughput capacity facilitated the purchase decision. The five machines were handed over at the Calbe production site, a former state railway service area with industrial charm.
