Together with his wife Hedwig and his brother Josef he set up the family enterprise in 1965 and led it to international success over the years.
His humorous and down-to-earth manner was highly esteemed by all the employees. Not only for the staff, but also for customers and partners he was a valuable supporter and close confidant. For his courageous entrepreneurial spirit and his keen sense for the market and the customers’ needs, he was held in high esteem and inspired confidence.
It is thanks to his unique personality that today the group with around 700 employees is among the world’s leading machine manufacturing enterprises in the field of recycling, environmental technology and resource recovery. He will remain unforgotten!
