Selector 800.2 – Thorough separation of difficult-to-screen materials
Right at home when it comes to materials that are difficult to screen and which easily wrap around the rotor, the Selector 800.2 thoroughly separates material streams with very little wear and tear. It is the ideal solution for separating complex materials downstream of a preshredding process thanks to its high throughput.
Handling mixed materials like waste wood, bio-waste, green waste, construction waste, etc. with a tendency to become wrapped is one of the more common yet complicated tasks in day-to-day recycling operations. The Selector 800.2 readily accepts such challenges though. The system separates material streams without any risk of clogging, jamming or wrapping. Screen openings clean themselves of any obstructions, and thus screening quality remains on a consistent high level.
The Selector 800.2’s efficiency is primarily due to the wide variety of setup options. Depending on material requirements, the system may be equipped with spiral shaft screening decks (SWS) or star screening decks (DST) mounted on the base chassis of the Selector 800.2. The SWS decks of the Selector 800.2 and Selector 400 are identical and can be interchanged. Customer- and material-specific configurations can be implemented quickly and flexibly. The separating cut can be individually adjusted by exchanging the screening decks. The guidance of the large-size particles effectively reduces handling costs in terms of machine feeding.
