The WB 620 can be used in a stationary or mobile capacity for a wide variety of applications. Instead of a lower belt for fine fractions, it is equipped with a collection trough with an optional pump. A lateral discharge belt is not needed. Instead of a screening drum, a washing drum is used, which is initially closed to ensure that the material is mixed intensively with water. The second part of the drum has screen openings, through which the water drains, taking the surface impurities away with it, and thus preparing plastics, gravel or biomass for downstream recycling.
As a result, the WB 620 is able to separate feed materials such as wet mixtures comprising sand and gravel with the aid of wet classification into a sand fraction and a gravel fraction. The sand fraction would then be discharged through the screen openings with the water during a subsequent sedimentation step.
High quality of clean end products
High degree of separation thanks to wet classification
Variability due to wide variety of options for the basic screening machine, e.g. additional rock screen
Flexibility as a result of reversible design allowing retrofitting within one day
