From the first meeting with the customer to the delivery of the machine - at Doppstadt, we see our responsibility in developing sustainable solutions. The recipe for the success of our work lies in the constructive exchange and close dialogue between our development teams and all stakeholders. The Design & Development department from Velbert with 15 employees and the 25-strong team from Calbe are in constant contact when it comes to customer satisfaction down to the last screw. All relevant processes are covered, from the first sketch and the comparison of different concepts to the detailed construction and testing of new machines.
Product management sets the course and cornerstones for these development processes in advance: It clarifies and defines the market situation, product requirements and customer needs at an early stage. It feeds this information into the product development process. All those involved have access to this and continuously coordinate with each other as the process progresses. Once the core of the machine, the so-called process engineering, has been defined in Velbert, the team in Calbe starts designing the machine and building the prototype. Only the close exchange of all experts over the entire development and production process ensuresables the best possible result: robust and durable machines with an optimal cost-benefit ratio, intuitive operationbility and the best ease of maintenance.
