The Doppstadt RB 8 & RB 12 are horizontal grinders that deliver extreme power, exceeding the 1,100 PS mark. These machines are not entirely new to the market, but are based on the Doppstadt Redback brand, which has been working on the toughest jobs in America and, above all, in Australia for over 30 years.

Both of our RB Horizontal Grinders offer enough power to handle any task. The RB 8 is equipped with a Caterpillar® C18 diesel engine delivering 785 PS and a torque of 3,710 Nm, whilst the RB 12 is driven by a CAT C32 diesel engine. With 1,125 PS and a torque of 5,500 Nm, this engine offers even more power for the toughest jobs.
Self-cleaning, heavy duty infeed conveyor provides a maintenance free long life
Widest feeding table and feeder floor in its class to accept large feedstock input
Proportional feed control system automatically adjusts the infeed rate to maximize throughput
Infeed conveyor and feed wheel are driven directly by high-torque motors (not chain driven)
Feed wheel has a multi-tooth design and it is also programmed with an automatic pull down feature.
Various screen sizes provide a long service life and changeable in under 20 min.
Heavy-duty rotor and anvil are built tough to handle the hardest materials and are highly resistant to damage by contaminants. Fully lined grinding chamber features heavy-duty key locked hammer tips which overlap the rotor discs to give full width grinding coverage.
The Caterpillar diesel engine is matched to a Twin Disc® wet clutch for seamless control. The RB 8 is fitted with a CAT C18 engine and the RB 12 utilizes a CAT C32 engine.
Discharge conveyor 7,500 mm long and 1,520 or 1,800 mm wide, with a maximum discharge height of 4,500 mm
