Doppstadt Telematics is standard on Doppstadt mobile machines and included for 4 years.
The contract's expiry date is shown in the portal in good time and can also be subscribed to by e-mail.
After this period, an extension is possible.
For expired contracts, Doppstadt offers a retrofit so that older machines can be equipped with Telematics again.
Current prices for a contract renewal or a retrofit are available from your Doppstadt dealer or at telematiksystem(at)doppstadt.de .
If you sell the machine, please inform your Doppstadt dealer about the sale.
The dealer will pass this information on to the manufacturer (OEM), after which your existing Telematics access will be deactivated.
The new owner can then apply for their own access via their dealer.
Doppstadt Telematics has an intelligent search (at the top of the central header).
Here you can enter the full name, just part of the name, or the four-digit serial number.
A selection of possible matches is shown to you immediately.
Alternatively, you can look for the machine on the map (menu item "Machines") if you know its location.
Utilization helps you use the machine optimally.
It shows how much the machine works with and without material.
A high idle share can indicate that the machine is using fuel unnecessarily.
In addition, prolonged idling damages the exhaust system and can lead to problems over time.
The chart also shows the full-load share. Full load can accelerate wear.
Doppstadt Telematics offers numerous reports for analyzing data.
In addition to standard reporting tools such as tables and charts, the following reports are available:
- Fleet Activity Report – total and weekly breakdown of operating hours for each machine
- Machine Activity Report – shows the operating status of your machines Efficiency
- History – tracks work and idle time over time for a historical efficiency comparison
- Efficiency – snapshot of overall efficiency within a specific period by comparing work and idle time
- Jobs – usage-based reports for capturing specific machine signals for accounting and service orders
- GeoLeash – monitors machine movements to detect when a machine exceeds a configured tether length
- GeoFence – monitors machine movements to detect whether the machine is inside or outside a predefined area, including boundary-crossing detection
- Geo-based CO2 Footprint – export data on the carbon dioxide emissions of a specific geographic area

The time period of the overviews is set by default (e.g. activity over the last 30 days).
If the machine did not send any data during this period, the display remains empty.
You can adjust the time period and the content of the charts via the calendar icon.
Simply select a longer time period to see data.
Some machines do not send the displayed signal at all. In that case, too, the display remains empty.
The modem uses GPS to determine the position.
If the modem does not receive a sufficient GPS signal, the position cannot be determined.
Suggested solution: Check whether the modem is receiving power, whether the LEDs are lit, whether the antennas are connected correctly, or whether the location (e.g. a covered facility) is responsible for the missing signal.
The modem sends data from the machine to the Telematics server via the mobile network.
If this connection is disrupted, no data is sent.
The modem temporarily stores brief interruptions and sends the data as soon as the connection is available again.
Suggested solution: Check whether the modem is receiving power, whether the LEDs are lit, whether the antennas are connected correctly, or whether the location (no or poor mobile network coverage) is responsible for the missing connection.
After delivery, machines are usually assigned to a dealer. Only Doppstadt or an authorized dealer can assign the machine to the end customer.
