The SM 518.3 is actually required by law in every medium-sized recycling facility. This is because our screening machine can handle household and commercial waste, compost, bark, wood chips, bulk materials and excavated soil equally well, ensuring that the very best end products are always produced and can be immediately recycled.

Depending on requirements, the SM 518.3 can be adapted to a wide range of screening tasks in no time at all. Operating as a 2-fraction trommel screen as standard, the SM 518.3 can produce up to four fractions in a single pass with optional units such as stone grids for coarse material separation or magnetic pulleys.

There are three drive variants to choose from (without AdBlue additive): diesel, electric or DualPower, where both variants are installed in one machine. 
The new DualPower drive technology – the smarter hybrid – allows operators to switch flexibly between diesel and electric drive, enabling them to adapt perfectly to the existing infrastructure on site.
